You can't. The kinky hair comes from under the skin, and it will always continue to do so. That is part of what you are like. You can't change that.
However, you CAN change your hair once it is outside the skin. We do that with chemicals sometimes, and there are other ways too. You CAN reform your hair (temporarily, of course) by "setting" it. That is, re-shaping it while it is wet, and letting it dry in a new shape. You can use rollers or use some heat implements. These all [temporarily] change the shape of the hair, to allow you to wear it in different ways. But once water gets in the hair again (high humidity or washing), it will go back to the normal natural state.
Using a chemical to change the structure of the hair works sometimes, but it does cause some damage. [In fact, anything you do to the hair, from brushing, shampooing, curling) will damage the hair a little bit.] It is best to keep it the way it is, and lean how to work WITH the hair rather than against it.
Find a good professional stylist that works with kinky hair and find out some of the things you can do with it. There are more options than you know of! There is something that will be just right for you. Then it will be YOU -- not a facade you put on.
