Is "God" good at handling rejection?
In other words can he handle rejection with dignity and grace?

God can't handle anything. He is fictitious

As any loving father he needs his children to love and respect him. Why? Because then they will follow guidelines to have a better life for them and others. He destroyed a world of ungodly people because they were to violent. If a man had children who did not respect him and became violent and killed others what would he do? To save the good children he would insist on obedience. Give a book of instructions. Even a computer comes with instructions. Should you throw it away and just do what you want it probably would not turn out well.

Look around the world at the many people who reject God. Yet, they still live and breathe as they continue to reject him. As the Bible says, it rains on the righteous and the unrighteousness. We are all blessed with God's underserved kindness. Even now, he's still giving people a chance to repent, be forgiven and to live in harmony with his will. He does not want any to die.
Isaiah 55:6 says: " Search for Jehovah, you people, while he may be found. Call on him while he proves to be near." God's blessings is not unconditional, nor will his invitation be extended indefinitely.
But, for now, Isaiah 55:7 says: " Let the wicked man leave his way, and the harmful man his thoughts; and let him return to Jehovah, who will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for he will forgive in a large way.
