They must have not gotten the memo from the GOP telling them that tax cuts will magically cause them to hire a bunch of additional employees even though there's no extra work for them to do. Now, if they had given all the tax cuts to poor and middle class people, then THOSE groups would go out and spend all of the money, priming the economy, and yes, causing companies like AT&T to hire employees instead of laying them off like they did after trump's misdirected tax cuts.
