Good Alternatives to the iPod Classic?
I ve had my iPod classic for a long time, but it s just now beginning to deteriorate and fall apart. Fixing it doesn t seem worth it considering I ve already had about $70 worth of repairs done on it. I would like to buy another iPod, but Apple is discontinuing the line and only pursuing iPhones etc. I would like to have a cheap alternative to the classic iPod that can carry a good amount of music. I have over 100 gigs of music in my collection. I ve tried streaming services. like youtube and spotify, but It doesn t feel the same and I also don t like using my phone for listening to music. Are there any good MP3 players or walkmans that can hold that much memory?

Look at the Fiio X1 or X3
Both can use up to 256gb micro sd cards.

The touch wheel functions a bit differently than an iPod.

You can probably buy a used iPod similar to yours but in better shape off the internet.
