D) Half False

Partly true. They had a modicum of control over their ranges, but, there were a great many tribes with other ranges that they would roam in.

None of the above. North America is a damn big continent and you seem to be omitting the Aztecs, Mayans, Iroquois , Crow , Algonquin et al.

At most it can be half true or half false which is the same thing. The Seminole did not exist until the last half of the 18th century. Then there is the question what does "had control of the American soil" mean? If it means all the territory in what is now the US then it is of course false. If it means the Cherokee had control of some limited territory then that is true.

For the time periods listed only the Cherokee Indians would apply. The Seminole Indians did not emerge until the mid-Eighteenth Century.

Just them? What about the other 32 tribes?

False. The Seminoles didn't even exist when the colonists first arrived. Native American refugees from northern wars, such as the Yuchi and Yamasee after the Yamasee War in South Carolina, migrated into Spanish Florida in the early 18th century. As they established themselves in northern and peninsular Florida throughout the 1700s, the various new arrivals intermingled with each other and with the few remaining indigenous people. In a process of ethnogenesis, they constructed a new culture which they called "Seminole", a derivative of the Mvskoke' (a Creek language) word simano-li, an adaptation of the Spanish cimarrón which means "wild" (in their case, "wild men"), or "runaway" [men].

If the answer were C doesn't that automatically make D correct as well, and vice versa?

A little bit true. Those tribes controlled a small part of what became the USA.
