Is this a very unhealthy diet?

Here was my food intake for today:

Breakfast:

Two slices of toast with strawberry jam (no sugar added)

Two cups of coffee with sweetener and fat-free cream

Lunch:

Nothing

Dinner:

One bag of Uncle Ben's rice

Evening snack:

One cup of tea with skim milk and sweetener

Is this a very unhealthy diet?

    Very unhealthy.

You ate bread and rice and drank coffee.

    No protein.

    No fruit and vegetables.

    No vitamins and minerals.

    No essential nutrients.

Is there a reason your diet is so poor or is this just poor decision making?

It’s not terrible, but not great either.

First off, you shouldn’t skip lunch. You should never skip meals. You need to be eating throughout the day to keep your metabolism going. Here’s what you should be eating:

    Breakfast:

    - Fruit smoothie

    - Gluten free organic chia seed waffle

    - Ham and cheese omelette with avocado and mushrooms

    - 2 eggs sunny side up with organic turkey bacon and spinach

    - Organic oatmeal

    - Protein shake

    - Whole wheat or Ezekiel bread with peanut butter

    Lunch:

    - Salad with chicken or shrimp

    Dinner:

    - Lean steak, chicken, haddock, wild Atlantic salmon, lean turkey, zoodles

    Snack:

    - Almonds, peanuts, hummus with whole grain pita chips, sunflower seeds, cheese, apples and peanut butter, carrots and low-fat, low-calorie organic dip

    Drinks:

    - Water with lemon, lime, cucumber slices and mint

    - Organic 1% milk for calcium

    - Organic green or peppermint tea, really any kind that’s organic

    - Watered down cranberry juice or Pom

Well in England you typically eat bacon and eggs fried in lard with the fried eggs on fried bread.

Yes. You ate sugar and only sugar all day. Surprised? The bread, jam, fat-free cream, and rice are all carbohydrates that turn into sugar/glucose in your body. You ate no fat (which is actually essential for your brain) or protein. You are no fiber or any foods with any nutrients.
