Israel has NOT been a country for thousands of years.

Countries are politically agreed areas with boundaries that have to be recognised by other countries.

Israel should be recognised only as an occupied area - and all countries should introduce sanctions until the Palestinian people are given a fair deal.

Israel did not exist before 1948. The idea of it did but that part of western Asia had had many names over the millennia.

sorry but a quick read of history will reveal Israel hasn't been a country for thousands of years. there was never a homogenous Israelite population. titus destroyed the temple and scattered most of the people in 70 AD.

Recognized as a political entity in 1948. Occupied by Greeks, Romans and many others over the centuries.
