I have a walkie talkie with 2.5mm audio output and I bought a adapter that I can put my earphone but the walkie doesnt work can someone help?

    usually, the 2.5 mm jack connected to a headset .... headphones + microphone ... after connecting its speaker and mic won't work

    Not enough info. You may have a stereo earphone connector whereas the WalkiTalkie is mono sound connector

    The bad news is that the headset connections in W-Ts are not standardized.

    They aren't even all the same within the same brand.

    It seems that there are more ways than the number of contacts on the plugs

    would mathematically allow.

    To make sure it will work, buy Only the manufacturer's recommended accessories

    for the specific model of radio you have.

    Yes, that is EXPENSIVE, but it is also the best option.
