Can guys and girls really just be friends?

My best friend is a guy, he s a year younger than me and he is basically my brother. We ve been best friends for a few years now, probably 4 or 5. He s handsome, sweet, funny, and also hella tall lmao but I have never seen him as someone I d want to be more than friends with, and vise versa. His friends keep teasing him, telling him in 10 years I m gonna be Mrs. Hanson but we truly think we can be just friends and remain that way. What s your opinion?
