I had blond highlights done. Usually they look great. This time the highlights are hardly visible.?

When I phoned the hairdresser back and told her my highlights are very dark and hardly visible, she said to come in and she will takes some of the toner out to fix it.

I can't see how taking toner out will give me my super blonde highlights back?

Also do hair salons charge to fix something if you're not happy with?

  • Toner isn't going to make them more visible.

She should fix them with bleach.

I've had the same thing happen. I wasn't happy with my color, they fixed it for free.

If you're not happy with it then salons usually fix hair color for free, to keep you as a customer.

I've gone back to my hairstylist (once) for corrections to my color. She fixed it and didn't charge me. I can't say what your hair stylist will do, but if she wants to keep you as a customer, she will try to make you happy.
