Bodybuilding, running, dancing, swimming, yoga, parkour, basketball, hiking, ballet, boxing....
Whatever you use in order to stay in shape....make sure that it's something that you actually ENJOY doing. It'll be easier for you to stick to, in the long term.
You don't HAVE to look like a bodybuilder in order to be healthy, but you do need to put in the effort when it comes to being fit. As long as you're getting a lot of rest, staying active, and eating mostly whole foods....that should be good enough. If you want to do more than that, then it's up to you...but you shouldn't take up a routine just because family, friends, & the media are forcing you to.
That's taking up fitness for the wrong reasons.
You should stay in shape because you want to have a healthier lifestyle, and it's something that you genuinely enjoy doing.
