Is Climate change an important issue in Canada.?

Yes. Does Canada really want half of the USA moving there because it is too freaking hot in Texas and Huston floods every three weeks?

yes, pine bettles, forest fires, sea coast changes, arctic sovereignty, extreme weather/floods. not exactly beneficial.

Canada has the world’s longest coastline so will feel the effects of sea level rise more than any other nation.
Canada is dependent on glaciers for water and hydroelectric power.
Canada is mostly permafrost that is melting and making the ground unstable as well as releasing arctic methane that would accelerate climate change.
Canada is an important world breadbasket and will not make enough food for itself and the world if crops fail.
While deniers will correctly point out that Canada has one of the world’s largest boreal forests which remove most of the world’s carbon, and it will increase in volume with higher concentrations of carbon, the carbon is still added to the carbon cycle. If the trees removed the carbon to the pre industrial levels, many trees would die and release the carbon as they decay. It’s like how Antarctica is the world’s driest desert even though it has most of the world’s fresh water. That water is frozen and unable to enter the water cycle.

Environmental Change Science
What is the issue?
The logical proof is clear: the Earth's atmosphere is warming. Since the 1950s, a considerable lot of the watched changes are exceptional over decades to millennia Footnote 1. In Canada, these progressions incorporate rising temperatures, moving precipitation examples, and increments in specific sorts of risky climate.
Environmental change is essentially ascribed to the aggregation of ozone depleting substances (GHGs), which traps heat in the climate and causes a warming impact. This warming impact relies upon the aggregate sum of GHGs collected in the climate, the time that they stay in the air, and each GHG's ability to trap heat. In 2014, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reasoned that "all things considered, human impact has been the predominant reason for the watched warming since the mid-twentieth century".
In view of the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report's relief situation, restricting the normal worldwide temperature increment to likely under 2°C in respect to pre-modern dimensions, in accordance with the objective of the Copenhagen Accord, will necessitate that worldwide GHG outflows be diminished by 40% to 70% underneath 2010 dimensions by mid-century and that discharges be diminished to almost focus in the long haul. To continue warming likely underneath 2oC, aggregate worldwide discharges of carbon dioxide must be constrained to around one gigatonne of carbon, half of which has just been transmitted. Under this situation, temperature in Canada is anticipated to ascend by around 4.0oC. Under the most elevated discharges situation, which accept that worldwide yearly GHG outflows keep on ascending all through the 21st century, normal worldwide temperature is anticipated to ascend by 5.6oC by 2100. Be that as it may, temperature in Canada is anticipated to ascend by 9.5oC.
While effects including temperature rise are anticipated to shift by locale, GHGs are circulated all through the Earth's climate. Thus, discharges decreases endeavors that are embraced add to tending to this worldwide test, regardless of where they are taken (either inside or past any one nation's national outskirts). This underscores the significance of composed worldwide activity to address environmental change.

It should be a national calling. If there is one country, besides Russia, that would benefit from a little warming, that would be our neighbors to the north (I'm American).
