Because 90 percent of the guns used in crimes in Canada are smuggled in from the US eh should Canada slap on tariffs monthly on your goods?
sold into Canada until the US gets guns under control and stops this carnage

It’s not just Canada, over 65% of the guns confiscated in Mexico were manufactured in the US.
As far as tariffs, this is gonna seriously backfire on us all. Mexico is our largest trading partner. They are the ones who literally buy the vast majority of our exports and over 70% of ALL US TRADE, exports and imports go in and out the US through the US-Mexican border....then add on top of that our second largest trading partner, China, we’re currently in a trade war with..not to mention the EU and now as of last week, India.....I see an economic crash in our future and the most dangerous thing is the world is moving away from the US dollar as the standard as a result of Trumps tactics so this coming crash might not be as easy to recover from

Canadians have had as many guns, per person, as Americans for years. Same as several other countries. The level of violent insanity is a bit lower though.

Canada is very thankful for the US helping to take Canada under it's wing like a little sister .

Smugglers don't pay tariffs, so they would only harm law abiding Canadians who already suffer from a lower gun crime rate and better health care than the US.

Then we can retaliate by pulling your Pratt & Whitney from the Joint Strike Fighter contract and give their portion to Lockheed, Boeing, or General Electric... that alone will probably bankrupt them...
Then we can place tariffs on your oil... and lumber... and fish...
Maybe our State Department can also deny the work Visa's for your oil field workers that come to the US seasonally...
And since your internet backbone is tied into the US internet infrastructure, maybe we can just throttle your internet speeds...
I feel you have more to lose in this than the US...
😂 😘 👌 Lolz

Canada exports a lot of maple syrup and night crawlers into the United States, that would be risky on their part to interrupt that trade.

By “crimes”, are we talking about fights during hockey games?
