Why is there so much conflicting information and answers on the internet such as Google?

Because anyone can put nonsense on the internet in seconds and spread it widely in a short amount of time.

um, anyone can make a website, and fill it with lies and opinions.
if you want facts, you don't go to a random person on the street, right? you go to a reputable source. why would you do anything differently on the internet?
stick to Wikipedia, and check their sources at the bottom of each page, proving their reliability (do NOT just believe blindly what you read on it!).

Because everyone thinks they're an expert, but very few actually are.
