Can you deep fry Tater Tots?

I know you're usually supposed to oven cook them, but would they turn out if I boiled them in oil? Will award best answer :)

Deep fried tater tots are delicious. Lots of fat and calories, but they're awfully good!

Did you look at the box. I thought they usually include directions for deep frying them...? I'm too lazy to pull a box out of my freezer but apparently so are you!

they are deep fried where ever they are offered on the menu and if you read the instructions on the bag, it will also tell you that.
