I used my telephone yellow pages to locate road services

and after dialing a few AAA was acceptable. I recently

    found a better provider..

Basic membership gets roadside and short-distance towing. As an AAA Plus member, you can tow up to 100 miles and receive lock-out assistance. Premier members get up to 200 miles of free towing and 24-hour concierge service.

You A: Contact AAA and join, but they do not tow for 100 miles; they tow to the nears AAA garage, you yard or junk yard. BUT NO !)) MILE TOW!

You pay them for a membership. You might find it cheaper to just pay for the tow. There are restrictions on the "free 100 mile tow".

Call them up, or go to their website, or go in person. A basic membership is pretty reasonable, I pay $40 per year, but you can only be towed a maximum of seven miles. If you want a longer towing distance, it will cost you more.

You won't get such a service.

Click on AAA.com or visit their office. It's not rocket surgery.

Go to their website and join. Their basic membership will not tow you 100 miles, though. You'll have to upgrade.

Costs you almost $100 to join, you know.

It costs me $40 per year for a basic membership, and I live in Los Angeles. So you're suggesting that something is MORE expensive than Los Angeles, which is rarely the case.
