We would be the creators and slaves of AI. I’ve always posed the question concerning these things; Why does man continually invent things that he cannot live without?

Well take the example of (expensive) smart phones.

Do they really enhance the intelligence of their owners. So much?

Do they help in enabling us to WITHSTAND A BULLYING BOSS.

    Or even bullying co-workers?

    Huh?

Source(s): phones that MAY enable the bullied owner to access the wherebouts of civil agencies, a good lawer or just law enforcement.

This reminds me of a SF story I read (halfway) It was about a woman named Josephine who built a computer that developed into an AI. The AI said it'd let people live as its pets.

If we do create AI that is capable of ruling the world, we may find ourselves being eliminated by the machines as being wasteful and redundant. It's not that the AI would be evil, it would just see us as being unnecessary.
