Tropical rainforests (being "tropical") are ALL located "near the equator."

The largest is the Amazon - in South America. The equator actually runs through it.

The Congolese rainforests (in Africa) are also equatorial, but much smaller.

The equator runs through Asia across the islands of Indonesia, so rainforests there are even smaller.
