Go to the Home and Garden category and ask there. This is the Cars and Transportation maintenance forum.

Commercial kitchens use a weak solution of hydrofluoric acid, if the bath is ceramic lined this could work.

Vinegar soak over night, scraper like a very small screwdriver or plastic razor for the big chunks, and then a brillo pad and more vinegar to clean up.

Bed Bath & Beyond has a product called "Pure Clean Bath Stone Cleaning Block". It works like a pumice stone and costs only $5.00. You can get it in the store or online. It works great, takes a little elbow grease, but it will get the job done! Also, be aware if your tub has been re-surfaced then this product will probably NOT work.
