In the European/old numbering system, "billion" means a million million, so the answer is 10,000.

In the American/new numbering system, "billion" means a thousand million, so the answer is 10.

The question is in English and asked in the 21st century.  There is no English-speaking country that uses the "long billion" any more.  England switched in 1974.

To make this equation, easier, take off the same number of zeros on each number then divide. Such as 3,500,000,000 divided by 350,000,000 - turns into 350 divided by 35. (taking seven zeros off each number).

350 divided by 35 is much easier to calculatw
