    No.

An OS doesn't require support from anywhere externally. However, Windows 7 won't receive updates, and a lot of programs won't have, or will remove support for Windows 7. It's still probably best to update your OS

Microsoft will no longer support Windows 7 after January 14, 2020!

There will be no more critical updates

Motherboard, and hardware makers will no longer write drivers for it

MS are going to stop supporting it with updates and security, but it will still continue to work.

Up to date or not... Windows 10 is a piss poor excuse for an OS. Perhaps if they GET RID of all the spyware and the BS forced updates then it would be a bit decent. Windows 10 is also still too buggy amd has too many problems.
