If Quebec, Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia formed an independent country?

What would the demographics be like?

What percentage of people of those provinces altogether speak French? English?

What demographic would have the most control? Do you think it would mainly be run by Quebec?

Anyone who wasn't a sitting member of the government would be employed by the government. That's what the entire demographic would look like.

Quebec is home to a lot of independent businesses, but none of them would stay there if it became independent. Most of them ran like hell the last time Quebec even started talking about separation.

It would not happen. Some of those provinces barely get along as it is! They have no reason to band together.

      It doesn't matter, it's a hypothetical question.

I think they did. It's called Canada. It seems to have missed Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba, Nunavut, the Yukon Territory, etc..
