Simply multiply the numerator by the same amount as the denominator has increased.

Since 10 has increased to 20, you can find out that it has increased by twice as much (10 x 2 = 20).

    So multiply the numerator by 2 as well (6 x 2 = 12)

So your final answer will be 12/20.

There are different ways to attempt this question, but the logic will remain the same.

    A score, not an score!

    Double it...

    6/10 = 12/20

Double both terms. A score of 6/10 is 12/20.

    Determine the percent. 6/10 = 60 percent.

Now multiple 0.60 X 20 to determine the equivalent score.

You multiplied the denominaor by 2.

Multiply the numerator by 2; 12/20
