Is my mum allowed to stop me from having my xbox in my room even after I turn 18 in the UK? ?

I just don't think she has control over what I own as I'm now 18 and I couldn't find any solid evidence online of this and I just want to make sure

If you're in her house, no matter what age you are, you have to follow her rules, though she might relent if you're not in school any more.

You are over 18, she has the right to kick YOU out of the house, let alone dictate what you have in your room!

Little correction.  When you  move out and support yourself, she has no say over you.  While you are living at home, that's other story.  Time to grow up.

As long as you live in her house, you live by her rules.

I'm guessing that if it's her place, she makes the rules (no shoes, clean up after yourself, no xbox, etc.), but you have the right to move out.
