Best way to display the route of a road trip on a map only displaying the cities and towns we went to and no other labels?

Tried Google Maps and removing labels in satellite view removes all labels including the labels on the route and the route itself

Save the use photo editor to add the labels you want.

use the labels. Then save or screen cap the resulting image.  Then use MS Paint, or Photoshop to delete the labels you don't want.  Can't see any other way.
