No, that's an alien feature predominantly the preserve of Jews and third world savages.

Depends on which part of Europe you’re talking about.

Yes, Francois I of France had a pronounced hook, and his nose was so long his mistresses complained that it was virtually impossible to kiss his lips. And not a spot of Jewish blood. Lots of Italians have a hook too, it’s called a Roman nose.

Emperor Maximilian 1 had a large nose too. Must be something to do with Royal blood.

No, nor is a swarthy complexion or wiry hair which are Semitic features.

It’s mostly common among Mediterranean populations (including Southern Europeans)

Not all Europeans are the same genetically. People from Sardinia or Sicily would be closer related to Middle easterns or North Africans than Germans or British people for an example.

@Jimmy: Look it up. The People from the islands I mentioned are mainly descendants of Neolithic Farmers that came from the Middle East. But if you desperately want to believe that every European is genetically the same, sure go ahead.  It’s not like everybody cares about what science says.

Correct. I think this was pointed out in Asterix comics some years ago.

It’s a middle eastern feature. Europeans tend to have a long but slick nose. Like Lois Griffin
