The climate has been changing for Billions of years . No amount of taxation will change that.

Rather than trying to use taxes to harness control of the weather , I'd suggest we use our time money and resources to adapt to predictable changes .

Why did they change it from Global Warming to Climate Change? Because the planet has not warmed for 2 decades. Climate changes. There is nothing thar be done about that. The threat of famine and catastrophe is completely BOGUS.

Its just a fact that the left always has a crises to sell.

Btw, If there was an imminent threat do you think banks would still be lending Trillions to construction companies that build ocean front properties?

Tell that to the military. Of curse, if you work for Putin, this news will overjoy you.

Climate change threatens a majority of mission-critical military bases, Pentagon report says

    https://www.militarytimes.com/news/your-military/2...

The Pentagon did not assess all of its hundreds of installations, instead it selected “79 mission assurance priority installations based on their operational role,” the Pentagon said in its report.

In its assessment of those 79 installations, which included Army, Air Force and Navy installations — and notably no Marine Corps bases — the services reported that 53 of the 79 faced current threats from flooding; 43 of the 79 face current threats from drought and 36 of the 79 faced current threats from wildfires.

No, that's not likely.  The survival of the planet as a habitable environment for humans is the basic issue.  Considering the fundamental importance of that issue, we have to at least try.

Some people seem to be pulling in the opposite direction.  That is entirely incomprehensible.

So at least you're being honest: it's only the money you're worried about.

And the climate will be totally unaffected. One good sized volcanic eruption pumps more carbon into the atmosphere than mankind has done since Og in a cave discovered fire.

Something like 75 active volcanoes currently spewing greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere as we type .

Wait till they realize after all if they have done the reason why we are warmer because of the sun has nothing to do about the planet.
