His personal wealth and the profitability of the company may be tied...but profitability of the company is what the board wants...

Its more profitable to not offer health insurance unless required by law...simple economics...his personal wealth has nothing to do with this decision.

  • Usually full time workers get health benefits. If they're part time they don't get benefits, unless they're working more then 30 hrs a week. How do you know that they don't get insurance benefits.....

They do, where it is law. If they are only part-time workers, then there is none for anybody, from any employer. How much the owner has in assets has nothing to do with it.

What does Bezo's personal wealth have to do with it?

Amazon is a PUBLICLY TRADED COMPANY.  He is a member of the Amazon Board of Directors, not the only member.  And is an employee of Amazon.

If you had a job, you would be an employee. Would you give your co-workers your personal money?
