    If you don't even know the answer to that question I hope you're not thinking of messing with changing the ATF yourself!

    You should be asking if there is an ATF filter that is serviceable and which ATF type you need and how much to put into the tranny.

    No. If its acting up you will need to drop the pan. If it's not acting up just leave it alone. Many make the mistake of thinking since they have high mileage they should change tranny fluid. Huge mistake! Because it will cause seal issues. If you must change it do it once reseal it drive 1500 miles drop it again and readd.

    No, you have to drop the transmission pan to drain the fluid.
