Excuse.  When they do get out of school, they'll have another excuse why they can't hold onto a job.

Being a "bad test taker" is not a good excuse, because it is possible for anyone and everyone to improve their test taking skills.

Study more, understand the topics, practice solving test questions, use past papers to help you, improve handwriting and time management, and pick up on some tips to help you attempt tests more effectively. Learn stress management techniques to help you if you find yourself freezing up during tests.

This will help you become a "good test taker" and will thus boost your grades.

Do not do yourself the disservice of labeling yourself a "bad test taker", when it is so easy to improve your test taking skills.

The only excuse for getting bad grades is not being able to take the test because you're dead. Otherwise, you go down fighting!

If you want to describe yourself that way, it's fine. The truth is that good grades come from a stable, happy home life in which to do homework at night.
