"I've loved animals ever since I was a kid." "I've been loving animals ever since I was a kid". Which one is right?

The first one is right. The reason is that the progressive forms are not usually used for mental processes (though there are plenty of exceptions). Compare it to the present tense. You would say "I love animals" not "I am loving animals" (I hope).

1st one for sure ;)

The first one is correct. The second one is only part of a sentence.

They are both grammatically correct but the likelihood is 99.9% that you mean the first one.

The first is correct.
No native English-speaker would say #2.

They’re both right but the second one is sort of ambiguous about whether or not you’re having sex with animals.

Both sound okay.
