Did anyone notice in that Spongebob episode, Spongebob's father says to his mother "He's your son, Margaret. He's your son."?

It was the episode where Patrick, Spongebob, and Spongebob's family go on a vacation. Spongebob's father says "He's your son, Margaret. He's your son." at the very end of that episode. Does this mean that Harold Squarepants is merely a stepfather?

It means that SpongeBob's dad is ashamed of him and could possibly imply that he didn't want kids but his wife did.  This is his was of saying to his wife, "This is your fault!"

No, it is a way for the father to say that their son takes after his mother when the son does something bad. The father is saying "Don't blame me he gets that behavior from you."

People say that all the time. He doesn’t have a stepfather. They have done DNA tests to prove it.

No, people say that all the time. It’s a fact, he is her son. Saying our son wouldn’t also be true
