Fishless cycling, what do you think is better, and why - ammonium hydroxide vs ammonium chloride?

I suspect hydroxide would be better than chloride when it comes to freshwater, although, hydroxide is a base, and chloride is an acid.

What do you think it better and why?

Update:

Actually, many recommend the use of ammonium chloride.  Some even use Ammonium nitrate (when starting a cycle while feeding plants).  To say that one is the only way is ignorant.

Update 2:

Also, household ammonia often has added detergents, fragrances, and surfactant, which must be avoided in aquariums.

You just want to use ammonium hydroxide, regular plain household ammonia. That's what is recommended for a fishless cycle.
