Should Trump tell the Ukrainians that he will have more flexibility after the election?

That is an ok statement to make, even to the Russians, right?

    That statement has been taken out of context by the right for years.  It's meaningless.

    Sure, nothing wrong with that.

    What he should NOT say is something like, "Ukraine, if you're listening, hack my political opponent's emails and then give them to my son while he and I both lie about it."

    THAT would be really, really, really bad.  Right?

    From the Ukrainian point of view, that would sound like a threat.  He should just be quiet.  

    As others have said, with Trump, all roads lead to Russia.
