Which of the following aqueous solutions would you expect to be the best conductor of electric current?
1.0 M sugar (C6H12O6)
1.0 M CaCl2
1.0 M ethanol (C2H5OH)
1.0 M acetic acid (CH3COOH)

I would expect that the best conductor of current would be the solution with the highest concentration of ions. That would be the 1.0 M solution of CaCl2 which would have a 3 M concentration of ions.
