No-one wins most of the time at casinos. Casinos are in business to make money. All the games in casinos are weighted in favour of the casino. Poker is a game of skill.
That's why card counting isn't allowed. Casinos don't like anything that swings the odds in the mug's (I mean customer's) favour.

Years. Years and years.

Your expectations are unrealistic.
People who have even come close to making that kind of money at blackjack have relied on team play. For example, the MIT students used a team where multiple players would count cards and signal a "big bettor" to come to a table when there was a very favorable count. Today, casinos have rules to prevent people from using that technique. For example, where I play most often, a player sitting down mid-shoe is limited to playing the table minimum until the end of the shoe.
As an individual, you can still find casinos where you can get something like a 1% advantage over the house when playing blackjack. That means you would, on average, make a million dollars in bets to make $10,000. Also remember that you having an advantage over the house does not guarantee that you will win. You will have times that you have losing streaks. When you have a favorable card count you are move likely to get a blackjack, but the dealer will also be more likely to get a blackjack. There is never a guarantee that you will win.
Similarly there is luck involved in poker. You may be the best player at the table and lose to the worst player at the table who happens to get lucky. Once again you can use team play to increase your odds, but there are no guarantees.
By studying and practicing you can come out ahead in the long run at either blackjack and poker, but it is unlikely you will ever get good enough to make a decent living.

hire a professional gambler to gamble for you, he can pose as you and build your poker reputation and keep the winnings as payment until you eventually gain enough notoriety to be invited to a professional gambling tournament, where you'll take his place. you'll obviously be taking lessons how to gamble like a pro as he plays in you place.

The question should be: how much to invest before being able to pocket 10k a day... if you don’t have that kind of money then you can’t and you won’t, it’s as simple as this

For someone who would ask that question on Yahoo...
I'd say 50 years at least. That's probably on the low estimate. I could be wrong. You could be a billionaire and just Martingale yourself to a 10K profit most days right now.
