I need help on pre-calc!?

Find the rectangular coordinates of the point with the polar coordinates ordered pair 7 comma 2 pi divided by 3.

    just use the identity you were given...x = r cos Θ & y = r sin Θ

      perceptive question and good suggestion; also, /or, standard polar description => Cartesian point on a circle of radius 7 and rotation of +(2π/3)=120°, &
      r=hypotenuse=7, & x²+y²=r², =>
       |x|= 7×(1/2), & |y|= 7×(²√(3)/2), =>
       x= - (7/2), & y= + 7(²√3)/2 , ie, (x₀,y₀) = ( - (7/2), + 7(²√3)/2 )
