Oh hell yes, absolutely same results.  The only difference is the fifteen bucks some people pay for an 'authentic' Ouija board.  And the copyright, but that doesn't really matter.

I had a genuine authentic real Ouija board for a while, and it was nice.  It was made by Hasbro, the toy company who purchased the rights to the official Ouija board.  It was constructed out of pressed cardboard and emblazoned with screen-printed sticky paper, and the pointer was made of ABS plastic that fully complied with all FDA and EnviroCan standards.

I also had a "spirit board" that was homemade, constructed out of a beer case and cut-out letters from newspapers and magazines, and the pointer was a beer cap.  And both of them performed exactly the same.  I would ask questions of the mighty Ouija spirits, and they would spell out the answers I wanted using the pointer.  All I had to do was push the pointer around to spell out the answers.

If this all sounds amazingly coincidental to you, that's because it really should.

Wood is related to trees, trees represent the cosmic pillar and communication between the different planes. The paper can be made from the bagasse of the cane although there is also paper made of wood. But the wood in the ouija is not only the material because it is also a sign and in rituals everything must be done with precision and since the table is the main part, it would not work well enough.

    The answer is yes.

If those touching the board have ulterior motives, and money is involved the results will be obvious.

However, divination is the art of calming the mind and tapping into what we are not normally aware of.  It is scientifically possible for a practitioner to enter a meditative alpha state of consciousness.  To quote Carl Jung, "“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.” “People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own souls. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”"

Yes.  The results will still be fake.  It's just a kids game, don't you see ?  If you want to buy one, go to the nearest toy store.

Yes, originally they were called "talking Boards" and were drawn on several different things, paper being one of them.

Ouija boards are toys and you do not get any "results" from them. You can create an ouija board by drawing it on paper and many people who use them do precisely that but it is still a toy. The marker is moved by the people playing the game and this has been demonstrated umpteen times. The boards do not contact the dead, spirits, demons or anything else.

They don't get results unless proven. We have seen lots of strange stuff this year, so it does exist.

It would get the same results even if you drew it on dog crap with a crayon.

Edit: There is nothing mysterious or mythical about the board. We can directly trace it's origin to a specific person who invented it with a clear desire to utilize it as a source of entertainment. Believing what was literally designed to be a toy is magical would be like a 60's era Science Fiction writer suddenly making up a religion based on science fiction and then thousands of people just deciding it was real despite it having been created by someone with "fiction" in their job title.
