How was the fired Ukraine prosecutor "corrupt"?

His job was to prosecute corruption. He was investigating the company where Hunter Biden was installed by his US vp daddy. Obviously corruption existed there. Obviously he was doing his job.

Hard to say.  Reporting claims that he was corrupt and others claim incompetence.  He could have been either or....none of the above.

How was the fired Ukraine prosecutor "corrupt"?

His job was to prosecute corruption, AND EVERYONE AGREED HE WAS NOT DOING THAT.

FOR EXAMPLE, HE WAS NOT PROSECUTING BIDEN, JR'S COMPANY.

Like the US would care about some prosecutor in Ukraine in the first place. The basic premise is stupid.

Because Shokin's corruption was interfering in international investigations. The US doesn't exist in isolation

No, the problem was that Prosecutor General Shokin was NOT investigating anything. He took money from oligarchs to let investigations go dormant.

The accusation is that Biden blackmailed Ukraine’s new leaders into firing the country’s chief prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, to derail an investigation he was leading into a Ukrainian gas company that the vice president’s son, Hunter, was paid to advise. The truth, Ukraine’s leading anti-corruption activist Kaleniuk says, is that Shokin was forced from office at Biden’s urging because he had failed to conduct thorough investigations of corruption, and had stifled efforts to investigate embezzlement and misconduct by public officials following the 2014 uprising.

Shokin had let prosecutions into corruption slide precisely because he was corrupt. He let the investigation into Burisma go dormant, he wasn't investigating them.
