Soreness is most noticeable when you initially start training or restart after time off.  Soreness in muscles is good.  It triggers the muscles to get bigger and stronger. Soreness in joints, tendons  or along spine - especially lower back is bad, and will likely worsen until you identify and correct the cause.

Do you warm up first, you need to do a little gentle exercise before and after your workout. You might also be pushing yourself too hard.

I'm assuming you are very weak and your muscles are not reacting well to physical activity.

Because your muscles are sick of you

When you put your muscles under stress they become engorged with blood which stretches the muscle tissue.

Beacuse you are not used to work out/haven't worked out for a long time.
