    No, fatty liver does NOT cause diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is genetic and /or life style. Type 1 is an autoimmune disease.

    Fatty liver is often due to obesity. Fat cells replace liver cells.

    The pancreas is the organ producing insulin. As folks get bigger, if the pancreas cannot produce as much insulin as would be needed, then your blood sugar rises and you become one of millions of Type 2 diabetics in the USA.

    Not really. Diabetes 2 is caused by what a person is eating, and it's often genetic, but not always.

    Diabetes 1 is a case of a person not producing enough insulin

    These two illnesses aren't even alike! I don't know why they call them both diabetes. You can find out the differences if you Google the difference between diabetes 1 and diabetes 2

    Diabetes 2 can often be totally reversed through diet. It's been proven time after time that the Ketogenic diet reverses Diabetes 2
