Does regular sugar raise blood sugar?
If so how much?

Sure it does. So do grains, fruits and most processed foods.
If you want to know how much a particular food raises your blood glucose then test your blood before you eat the food and then go back and test it an hour after you eat it.

Check out the glycemic index. It will give you a hint how much particular foods will affect your blood sugar. Also check out the insulin index. Then eat only the foods that are considered "low" or "moderate" on the index. And yes, any kind of sugar is still sugar, that is, it contains glucose combined with other sugar molecules. You might google different kinds of sugars, like fructose, sucrose, maltose, dextrose as well as glucose, and find out which combinations of molecules make up sugars with different names.

Most foods raise blood sugar. How much depends on the food and how your body produces insulin.

Yes. Depends on how much sugar you take in and how well your body’s insulin is working.
