Has anyone ever heard Johnny Kidd & The Pirates Shakin' All Over?

Asked a question about the name of a song a few weeks ago but got no answers. Founded out that's it's name. Wonder if anyone on Yahoo even knows it.

The Who, the British rock group with Roger Daltrey on vocals and Pete Townshend on guitar, cover it on their "Live at Leeds" album; I think you would like that version much more.

Yes, that was played quite a bit on the radio when I was I was very young - I believe my older sister had the single [7" vinyl, for those not old enough to remember].

Yes I remember it well. Great guitar riff (played by Alan Caddy). It was just about the first original, genuine rock or rock n roll record by a British band to be successful - it was a number 1 hit in the UK.

Yes. The Guess Who were number-one in Canada in '65 with their cover of it.
