Can a bass speaking voice sing tenor?

    Yes, though it is rare for a male with a bass speaking voice to be able to sing the full tenor range.  

    However, opera singer Beverly Sills has a low speaking voice which leads one to assume that her voice classification is an alto instead of being a soprano.

    Some bass singers can sing the bottom tenor range. Some use their falsetto to sing in the tenor range.
