after formatting I can't find One Note seems the notes I kept there is lost. How to recover it. I'm using Windows 10?

    Formatting wipes the slate clean,,nothing there until the OS is reinstalled.

    With 2 partitions, you might be able to keep settings but data and apps on the formatted drive are gone.

    A handy gadget called "BACUP" helps prevent data loss, use it often.

    When you do a format, it brings the computer back to the original settings. If you did not make a backup of anything you wanted to save, then they will be lost, sorry

    Try a free software called Recuva,it may be able to find those files.

    Formatting a drive erases everything.

    After reinstalling Windows you need to install MS Office, or whatever package Onenote came from.Hopefully you had backups of your documents and data..
