A number of studies suggest that good-looking men have noticeably ugly daughters.

Usually, but not always. As someone noted earlier remember that the DNA of uncles, grandparents, etc. also figure in.

uncertain.....that depends if their genes are compatible with each other that they produce beautiful offsprings... some people are enhaced too they went under the knife so you cant tell what their offsprings would look like

Probably, but less so than their parents.  There's a concept in population genetics called "regression toward the mean."  And children of unattractive parents will tend to be more attractive than their parents.

Not necessarily. Remember they get DNA from more than their mom and dad. Both sets of grandparents figure in, plus in some cases, the great grandparents too.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

and anyone who becomes a parent only passes on HALF of their 46 chromosomes - luck of the draw decides which half.

So there are no guarantees in this

Usually, yes.  The probability is high.

There is a higher probability yes because they may well inherit the genes from their parents that made their parents good looking. However, it must be borne in mind a person's phenotype is the result of the way genes interact both with other genes and the environment so it is not guaranteed.

We do know it has the potential to work because this is the very basis on which farmers practised artificial selection. Take parents with desired characteristics, breed them, and there is a high probability their offspring will have them.

Not necessarily. Ice cream is delicious. And a cheeseburger tastes great. But mix them together and all you end up with is a big mess! lol Sometimes... two not so great looking people end up with a beautiful looking kid. You just never really know.
