Would knowing how to play ukulele be considered impressive?

I already know how to play clarinet because of school and im currently learning recorder for fun in an afterschool club. However, ive been wanting to learn a string instrument because that way i can play and sing along. Ive been debating between learning ukulele or guitar, and settled with guitar bc the ukulele kind of feels like a recorder to a clarinet: a toy. but, guitars cost much more and would also take a longer time to learn and i cant dedicate all my time to it because im still in school and theres so many things to balance at once, im not certain what the chance of successfully learning it would be. so now i think i want to buy a ukulele but, would it seem lame? easy? a joke? no offense to uke players jdkdjejje

You can buy a perfectly acceptable beginners' guitar for $200. That's not all that much more than a ukulele and a guitar is a hell of a lot more fun to learn and play.
