Does lamb have less uric acid than beef?

    I cant eat any red meat due to the uric acid.. causes havoc with my arthritis

    Honestly I dont know?

    I thought uric acid was produced in human ankle joints and caused gout?

      it is but eating a very rich diet with lots of alcohol or meat or both can contribute. FYI I had gout... from my blood pressure meds. Doc switched to a different kind and gout went away.
