Potassium PermanganateSolution is added to an acidified solution of sodiumIodide. The products formed are iodine(s) and manganese (II) ions.?

I need to write a balanced redox equation and we never learned what acidified means

    An acidified solution is one that has had an acid added to it.

    2 KMnO4 + 10 NaI + 16 H{+} → 5 I2 + 2 Mn{2+} + 8 H2O + 2 K{+} + 10 Na{+}
