most people who try doing this by choice end up failing

what will happen is that you will eventually be nutrient deficient and your body will crave other foods like a drug

Sounds boring and tasteless to me.

That's probably not a good idea. You won't get enough nutrients

Yes you can eat but fish should be eaten as well.

So even more extreme than vegan?

The biggest challenges would be getting complete protein(all essential amino acids), and enough fats.  You would need to include enough soy for complete protein, and olives and avocados for fat.

You would be deficient in several micronutrients as well as protein. Most vegetarians combine incomplete proteins in specific ways to get all of the aminos they need. (for example rice and beans). However you would still need to supplement things like b12 and possibly iron among others.

Yes, if you want the rest of your life to be 2 years.

Oh absolutely.  In fact you don't have to eat at all for the rest of your life.
